As the Jewish Community’s Advice Bureau, Paperweight is ready to support you through the current crisis.
We know that COVID-19 will continue to impact on all our lives in unprecedented ways. We want to reassure you that our priority remains the welfare of our clients and our colleagues.
We have put in place measures to ensure that we can continue to deliver the excellent services that you and the community expect from us.
The current crisis will sadly result in people losing their jobs, businesses folding, delays in obtaining the right benefits and, tragically, people dying. We therefore expect demand for our support to grow over the coming weeks and months.
Our free services are available for all those needing guidance on legal, financial and welfare issues. In these very testing times, we are particularly aware that people will turn to us for:
- Advocacy with the DWP
- Assistance on debt-related issues
- Regular updates on the support available from banks, building societies and government agencies
