A touch of humour is my aim. I seek to raise a smile. My inspiration is observed behaviour and human character and I hope that my settings have an accurate flavour of the times that they represent, causing my audience to recall memories of their own. A germ of an idea develops through sketches and background research into a 3-D construction made entirely of paper, a little card, much glue - and patience! My work is box-framed and glazed, although I do also occasionally work in cigar boxes.
